John 15:5 - “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” This is the verse that Sotto la Vite was built around.

This hand-drawn vine + coffee bean design conveys Sotto la Vite’s core purpose: more than just coffee, we’re on a mission. Since 2016, SLV’s founding family has been providing life-saving care and resources to the orphans of Mukono, Uganda, all with the dream of one day being able to physically build a permanent orphanage where the children will be consistently safe and cared for. In mid-2026, we finally received the land and shell structure of our future orphanage. But we’re at a critical juncture where we need to fund the finishing of the construction, install plumbing and electricity, supply the furnishings, etc.
